LitQuake and City Lights Bookstore present an evening of readings and music to celebrate the life of Edith Piaf with Carolyn Burke author of  No Regrets:  The Life of Edith Piaf.  Betty Roi will be singing Piaf songs accompanied by Jonathan Alford on Piano.

Betty Roi and her Kingtette will be playing French Cabaret songs and beloved Jazz standards in French and English. This is a free event – I’ll be singing two sets, and anyone is invited, children included.
